We were approached by the well known garden designer, Cargill Sykes, to deliver his scheme for these private clients. The 1960’s house was extensively remodelled in a New England style by a local builder, whilst we transformed what was a long forgotten overgrown back garden and paddock into a beautifully designed series of relaxing and entertaining spaces leading to a less formal paddock area.
The whole team played a part in this project by utilising their various skill sets as the project developed. This is the key to being a multi-disciplinary landscape company. We have a wealth of talent and whether a project requires complicated groundworks, bespoke paving, drainage, brick work, stone masonry, the planting and pruning of rare specimens or the maintenance of a finished scheme, we have it covered.
We used Millboard and substructures, the client’s own limestone for the paved terraces and the plants and trees were sourced from our network of nurseries and suppliers. We re-turfed all the areas to create a stunning outdoor space that complimented the home and the surrounding area.

The project was not without its challenges. Persistent rain and wet clay site conditions tested our teams resilience, but they adapted to the tough conditions with determination and the final garden reflects the finesse and quality we deliver as standard and we are looking forward to seeing this Cargill Sykes scheme maturing year on year.
